The Quick Response Unit (QRU) was set up to deal with the demand from clients on last minute sickness abuse. It gives employers the ability to phone us and get an immediate response when employees phone in at last minute claiming to be sick. We can have a team up and running to visit that employee and follow them where neccessary to see if they are in fact sick or suffering from a night on the booze! More often these days will be taken off on a Monday ‘blues’ or not turning in on a Saturday leaving the employer in a mess and on some occassions having to cancel the days work.
