Unfaithful Partners And The Addiction
Posted 15 September ,2010 in AIC Legal Services, Private InvestigationsWe have been following suspected unfaithful partners for many years now and it never fails to amaze us as to why some men and woman do it. So lets have a look at why thy do it -
Ego- Showing off on a night out with the lads or a Hen night or being in the company where the peer pressure puts such an expectation on them to cheat.
In a Rut – The spark has gone out of the relationship and everything has become boring with everyday chores.
Working relationships – Everything at home is a responsibility and there is no excitement or you stop noticing each other or making nice compliments. Then someone at work starts paying you some attention, making nice remarks about your appearance then all of a sudden that person makes you feel good. Before you know it your in an an affair.
Text Messages – This in our opinion is the worst and most common way that cheating will begin – It allows shy people to break down barriers that they could not do face to face. It starts with handing out the number, then a little light flirting and often leads to hard core sex texting. Followed up by a meeting and a sexual encounter.
Alcohol – As the saying goes ‘when the drinks in the wits out’. In our opinion the drink is only an excuse for the cheating and in fact the thought of cheating had already began long before the drink. However, it does tend to be the most accepted excuse ” I was too drunk to remember”.
You would think once A.I.C Legal Services had been hired and we had caught the cheater red handed that they would realise what they had done to their partner and family but more often than not we find ourselves catching these people time and time again until the relationship is over. We believe that for the majority, in our experience, once they start cheating, the excitement, the thrill, the Ego and the addictive behaviour is almost impossible to control and they become habitual cheaters the same as that of a drug user.
